maple chicken wing recipe


Maple Chicken Wings

1lb of chicken wings (you can add more if you are hungry, there will be plenty marinade)

2 tbsp maple syrup

100ml white wine (I used chardonnay because that’s what I drink)

1 tbsp of olive oil

½ tsp paprika

¼ tsp garlic powder

Salt and pepper…. a pinch of each

Mix every thing except the wings together.

Put the wings skin side up in a baking dish and the marinade over them, cover and leave them in the fridge for up to 24 hours, you could cook them straight away but they will benefit from the marinade.

Pre- heat oven to 200 degrees

Take from the fridge and turn the wings over so they are skin side down, place in the oven and cook for about 15 minutes.

Turn them over and cook for about 40 minutes until cooked through and golden. Remove from marinade and serve.

These are delicious both hot or cold…but let them cold a little bit before trying them if you don’t want to burn your fingers.
